  • What is a balayage service?
    A balayage service, is a low maintenance colour that embraces a natural root. The overall colour can be completely tailored to your liking. Please refer to our Instagram page to see some examples of our colour work.
  • How long does a balayage colour last?
    A lived in colour lasts anywhere from 3 months to a year. This is all dependant on how much of a low maintenance colour you choose, how often you like to get it done and whether you are using the correct home care.. Using the correct products and washing less frequently will help prolong root glosses and toners.
  • What does a balayage package include?
    Every service is completely bespoke and tailored to the individual. We usually include: - Highlighting / Lowlighting - Tip outs - A bond building treatment, - Free hand balayage - Root gloss - Toning gloss - Cut and style.
  • How long does a balayage service take?
    A service can take anywhere between 3/4.5 hours depending on hair length, density and the type of appointment.
  • I’m a new client - How do I book in?
    Please message us via Instagram DM or send us an email at We will schedule a consultation for you to pop in and we can carry out the necessary tests and have chat about your desired goal. Please note that ALL clients are required to pay a 50% deposit prior to the hair appointment, this will be redeemable against your colour appointment - please make sure you read our policies.
  • Do you offer Walk-in appointments?
    Unfortunately not, we are an ‘appointment only’ salon.
  • Parking & public transport?
    If you are with us for a small appointment e.g. cut and style, we would recommend parking in Clarence Street Car park or Green Market car park - please note, these are only short stay carparks. However, if you're with us for a colour service the closest long stay carpark is St Erbyns. We are also within walking distance from Penzance train station and a stones throw away from several bus stops.
  • What happens if i am running late?
    We do ask that you allow extra time when travelling to your appointment. However, we do understand sometimes this can't be avoided. If you are running late, please let your stylist know as soon as possible. We should still be able to carry out the appointment, it may mean that the full service might not be able to be carried out.
  • Is it essential to have a patch test?
    Absolutely. It is a legal requirement before performing a colouring service. There are no exceptions to this, without a patch test we will be unable to carry out the service.
  • Do you take cash or card payments?
    We only accept card payments.
  • Do you have a phone number?
    No. We are a small busy team, we would physically be unable to answer a phone. If you need to contact us, please do via Instagram or email.
  • How soon can I expect a reply from you?
    We will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible within our working hours. However, please bare in mind we are a small team running busy colums, we will try our best to get back to you as soon as we can. Your patience is appreciated.
